Students are eligible to attend Gisborne Secondary College if the College is the closest government school to your residential address, (if measured by the shortest practicable route). You can see a map of the school zone here (or refer to the diagram as per the Find My School Website). Families are required to provide two forms of documentation to prove their residential address, for example: rate’s notice, utility notice, driver’s licence.
All new enrolments to Gisborne Secondary College (excluding the year 6 into year 7 transition process) are overseen by the Assistant Principal’s. A parent interview is required at a mutually arranged appointment time. Student reports and assessment grades are required at the interview.
School requirements and information including uniform, books, lockers, code of conduct, parent and student supports, and subjects of study are discussed with parents and students before enrolment forms are signed. Interviews do not take place without a parent/guardian in attendance. To make an enrolment enquiry please fill out the Enrolment Enquiry Form.
Find my school website
The Find My School website visually represents all mainstream school zones in Victoria. You can find a designated neighbourhood school by a residential address search OR search using the name of a school.
The result will show:
- the location of the school in the zone in relation to the residential address (if provided)
- information about the school, its region and a link to the school website.
