Gisborne Secondary College welcomes and supports all students with diverse learning capabilities and needs. The inclusion centre has a holistic approach to support students focusing on their academic growth as well their social and emotional development. The PSD program is for those students who the Education Department have acknowledged as needing additional support to maximise their potential along their educational journey.
While supporting students in the classroom they also run additional programs such as life skills, driver education, support students transitioning into the workplace environment. They have a strong team, who are committed to helping those with diverse needs achieve their goals. They also work closely with outside professionals to ensure all needs are met.
