The College has state of the art facilities in its Performing Arts Centre, the Barcham Theatre.
The Barcham Theatre and the associated complex is available for hire by schools, early childhood centres, local organisations, not-for-profit entities and corporate and commercial organisations enterprises.

Conditions of Hire
– A key and security fob will be made available to the hirer via a key safe. It is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure that the key and fob are returned to the safe and that it is locked at the end of the hire. Instructions will be sent prior to the hire date. The key and fob are not to be shared with any other person and are the sole responsibility of the signatory on the hire agreement.
– Unless specifically arranged, the upstairs areas and downstairs music rooms are out of bounds to hirers and their associates.
– With the exception of technical equipment during a performance/production, any equipment owned by Gisborne Secondary College is not to be touched.
– Bookings are not usually available for usage during school hours. Bookings on a school day are not to commenced before 4:00pm.
– It is expected that rooms are left in the same condition and layout as they are found.
– There are cords provided in the Theatre for the curtains. Please use these to open and close the curtains, do not pull curtains across the stage.
– Rubbish bins are to be emptied by the hirer at the completion of the hire in the Waste Skips located in the school Willowbank Road carpark.
– The hirer is responsible for the behaviour of anyone present during the hire and is expected to reinforce the conditions of hire.
