Music at Gisborne Secondary College is a vibrant part of the Performing Arts.
Housed in the Performing Arts Centre the school has 3 soundproof practice spaces where students can undertake Instrumental Music Lessons. There is also a recording studio for recording projects.
Classroom Music is taught at both Year 7 & Year 8 while students from Year 9 onwards can elect to continue their Musical studies up to VCE or Certificate III level.
Students can join the following performance groups:
- Drum ensemble
- Concert Band
- Vocal Ensemble
- Instrumental Music
