Gisborne Secondary College is proud of its well-established and highly regarded Performing Arts program. Students are able to choose from a large number of subjects including Dance, Drama and Music. Students can also select to further their musical interested by doing Instrumental Music.
Each year the college puts on a production in its state-of-the-art theatre, with tickets always incredibly popular among the school and broader community. Students have the opportunity to participate in the production where they have the chance to sing, dance and perform or to be part of the backstage crew.
Victorian State Schools Spectacular
Gisborne Secondary College offers talented year 7 and 8 students the opportunity to participate in the annual Victorian State Schools Spectacular as a member of the dance or choir team. Students perform on stage and for a TV-broadcast, and gain hands-on experience in the performing arts under the guidance of industry professionals.
